c talks about Second World War evacuation. He has been a recurrent author in residence at the Imperial War Museum, in London, and regularly gives talks to various organisations and educational institutions.

| 'Meet the Author’ at the Imperial War Museum. David will feature at another "Meet the Author" day at Imperial War Museum London, Sunday 29th December 2019. He will be signing copies of ‘Goodbye East End’ from 11am-1pm and 2-4pm. David's appearances have been extremely popular and have become a regular event, where the book is on display and for sale. It is an opportunity to meet people from Britain and all over the world and to chat about WW2 children’s evacuation, which for many is a revelation.
